Dear Readers,
The article topic I chose was about Google and Android phone apps being downloaded and a month after getting deleted right off the phone. The title of the article is "Google Is Waging War on Apps That Attack and Steal From Your Phone."
This article is from Mashable.
Mirani, Leo. "Google Is Waging War on Apps That Attack and Steal From Your Phone." Mashable. Quartz, 5 Sept. 2013. Web. 6 Sept. 2013.<http://mashable.com/2013/09/05/google-changes-play-app-store/
Within the article it is discussing how people can download a app from the play store and a month later it disappears off your phone. Now its happen more frequently on peoples phone its starting to worry all the creators. Throughout a month there has been " 36,000 apps removed from Google Play that Berlin studies show"(Leo Mirani.)
Myself being a Android phone user concerns me if that will start happening to my apps. If my apps are disappearing then I might wondering if my phone is safe to use anymore. Now that I know this is occurring it makes me think if I should stop downloading apps or not. I feel this will start affecting the way I use my phone. I might stop using the Google play until they fix the problem.
This problem is having a negative affect on our technology world. It's causing people to feel unsafe using there own cell phone or electrical device that has play store on it. The largest impact will be on Google play. There's going to be more people not using it. They're most likely going to start switching to a something that's safe and reliable if a change isn't made.
