My topic I chose was on China creating a ban on video consoles after 13 years of sales in the country. The title of this article is "China Approves Removal plans for video game console ban after 13 years."

Throughout this article it is talking about China wanting to start banning stuff people use everyday. An example is video game consoles, and another would be facebook. They think that if they put the ban and take it away the sales will increase.


When I finished reading this article it really confused me. The reason they are putting a ban is to get more sales. Why would they want that? They already have one of the largest sales in the world. So according to Shane McGlaun, "Analyst are predicting that with the console ban lifted, the game industry could see billions of dollars in additional sales"(McGlaun). To me I think the whole thing is really stupid, and they're kind of being selfish.


This hasn't really affected the world much as it has China. They believe this will get better sales after a while. I think that the people of China will be mad at the fact they're using them. China might eventually get the wrong response then what they accepted. By doing this they might loose their profits on people that actually buy the gaming consoles.
